Russian Foreign Ministry: London is using “Skripal case” in its campaign against Russia without providing any evidence KXan 36 Daily News

As the diplomat stressed, Moscow strongly condemns all attempts by the UK to hold the Russian Federation responsible for what happened in Salisbury in 2018 and insists on an objective investigation of the incident.

Recall that former GRU agent Sergei Skripal, convicted in Russia of treason, and his daughter Yulia were poisoned in Salisbury in March 2018. This incident subsequently caused an international scandal. London believes that the Russian state was involved in the Skripal poisoning. Moscow categorically denies this.

We intend to continue to constantly seek to establish the truth in the context of obvious inconsistencies in the British position. We will continue to demand full official information from the UK authorities, as well as the compliance with our international legal obligations regarding the provision of consular access to our fellow citizens”, – concluded the diplomat.
