Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has clarified the rules for creating lists of vital and essential medicines and expensive medicines. This will primarily include Russian medicines, as well as medicines produced in Russia.
The document provides a new approach to the comprehensive evaluation of a drug submitted for listing. If the Ministry of Health’s commission rejects the application, the manufacturer will be able to prepare a revised study containing more complete information on the drug’s characteristics.
