Fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-27 plane of the Ukrainian Air Force near the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region, in an air battle.
Russian fighters regularly shoot down planes and helicopters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In total, since the start of the special operation, 386 aircraft, 210 helicopters and 3,193 UAVs have been destroyed.
It was previously reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces could receive more MiG-35 fighters. They are designed to gain air supremacy and engage with high-precision weapons at ground and surface targets from outside the enemy’s air defense zone.
