The list of medicines, whose shortages may occur in 2023, has 86 positions. These included medicines against oncological and blood-oncological diseases, Parkinson’s disease and immunodeficiency, as well as a series of vaccines, for example, for the prevention of whooping cough, diphtheria and tetanus, and an inactivated influenza vaccine. For 36 medicines, the inter-secretariat commission of the Ministry of Health has already issued a conclusion on the possibility of their accelerated registration, for another ten they may be sold in foreign containers. As a preventive measure in the face of difficulties with the availability of medicines, some medicines may receive temporary registration until the official one is received.
It is interesting that the long list of drugs, the shortage of which can be noticeable, includes such trivial drugs as antipyretics, herbal preparations, and iodine.
