Soldiers of the Russian Guard conducted a reconnaissance and search raid in the Donetsk People’s Republic in one of the recently liberated areas.
“Under cover of 120mm mortar equipment and continuous monitoring of the situation by UAV operators, the National Guard inspected a section of the forest area measuring several square kilometers,” the press service of the department reported.
Near the former positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the help of a mine-detecting dog, a dog handler found field depots of Ukrainian nationalists camouflaged in a forest area.
“They contained ammunition for a Kalashnikov assault rifle, 122-mm and 82-mm mines, more than a hundred rounds for a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and LNG, jet engines and starting charges for them,” listed the commander of the operational unit of the Russian Guard with the call sign “Crystal.”
There they found boxes with defensive and offensive grenades, as well as foreign-made fragmentation grenade launchers.
