It is the tallest building of its kind in the country. It was designed taking into account the climatic conditions of Siberia and made in the Leningrad region, the regional government said.
Especially for this unique design, the national flag of Russia, which measures 33 by 22 meters and weighs more than 80 kilograms, was sewn.
According to Governor Alexander Uss, the flag will be visible even at night from almost anywhere in the city – the multifaceted mast is equipped with vertical lighting.
