Sábato de Sarno, new creative director of Gucci

Kering and Gucci have revealed the name of the new creative director of the Italian brand: Sabato de Sarno. In this position, he replaced Alessandro Michele, who stepped down in November of last year. WWD writes about it.

De Sarno grew up in Naples. The designer began his career at Prada in 2005, then moved on to Dolce & Gabbana and then joined Valentino in 2009, where he eventually took over as design director for the men’s and women’s lines.
