The interior design of the showroom in the Lunar residential and commercial district was developed by the development company Hutton in collaboration with the Moscow Sample gallery. The complex was designed by Chilean designer Jaime Beriestain. The main colour scheme was natural shades of beige, diluted with light décor. Natural wood, stone, brass and leather were used in the decoration.
The interior is complemented by a Plus sofa model from the Ånnki brand from Yekaterinburg, founded in 2017 by Anna Nikulshina. The theme of sustainable development and recycling continues in several items from the Eburet design studio. In addition, a plush upholstered chair from the io series by CoDe.bi office director Gosha Aygunyan and several geometric SXS01 stools from sashaxsasha, created by the design duo Alexandra Gineva and Alexander Dobrovsky, appeared in the showroom.
The space also features designer ceramics by Maria Sofronova and serving items by the St. Petersburg glassware and glass accessories brand Solid Water, in particular the Freeze slab cutlery holder and the Re mate candlestick. The list of art objects continues with the work “Autumn Girl” by Lena Marru using the author’s technique of liquid acrylic on thin cotton without primer.
Previously, the School of Arts and Cultural Heritage of the European University of St. Petersburg, together with the OMK-Participation Foundation, launched a scholarship-based master’s program in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices. We discuss it in more detail here.
