Samson Rock raises a 1.27% stake in Opdenergy’s capital in full takeover bid for Antin

The London investment firm Samson Rock Capital has emerged in the capital of Opdenergy with a 1.271% stake, in full voluntary takeover bid (OPA) on the renewable group announced by the French fund Antin. Specifically, Samson Rock Capital has raised 1,881 million Opdenergy shares, through an ‘equity swap’, according to the records of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

At current market prices, this firm’s stake in Opdenergy will be worth €10.64 million. The company’s shares traded on Tuesday at 5.66 euros, with a fall of 0.18%. On June 12, the French fund Antin, through GCE LuxCo, presented a voluntary takeover bid for all Opdenergy shares at a price of 5.85 euros per share, so the maximum amount to be paid would reach 865.9 million euros.
