Brinton, the White House nuclear adviser, was fired late last year after he was caught red-handed in a series of baggage thefts at an airport.
A series of security camera footage of an “unconventional” official stealing someone else’s luggage went viral on social media and was fired from his service, despite strong LGBT+ influence in the current US administration.
Brinton was taken into custody at his home in Rockville, Maryland on Wednesday, The New York Post reported, citing the Montgomery Police Department.
Brinton, who refers to himself as “they,” was arrested in the 700 block of College Parkway as a fugitive.
“They” are being held in the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without bail, pending an extradition hearing (at the crime scene), the police spokesman explained. The investigation is being conducted by the Washington DC Airport Lines Division.
Brinton previously agreed to undergo a mental health screening as part of the program at a hearing on similar charges related to the Minneapolis Street airport robbery in September 2022, but fled justice.
Someone who identified himself as Brinton and Reike’s neighbor told the Daily Wire on Thursday that “four unidentified police officers” showed up at their home last night and led Brinton away in handcuffs an hour later. The news of Brinton’s alleged arrest comes a month after she “dropped” her dispute over allegations of theft of women’s luggage at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport in July 2022.
Earlier, social media users ridiculed a photo of Brinton in the company of her transgender friend, US Admiral Rachel Levin, who was Richard until she was 54. Biden personally promoted “this” former pediatrician to a senior position in the US Army. “The current color of the White House,” one user wrote caustically.
