Oh, this is also a mysterious time. I always liked graphics, but it was almost impossible to get into graphic design at the Mukhinsky School, and I went to the “environmental” one, where many of my classmates had already studied. And he did not lose, because they gave us knowledge not only about the principles of the organization of space, but also about related disciplines. Therefore, I gradually started moving from graphics to volume and integrating volumetric things into space. In addition, the work exhibited in the gallery will be seen by hundreds of people and the object located in the street, by thousands. The arithmetic here is quite simple.
If we talk about my installations in public spaces, it is quite difficult to point out some of the most memorable ones. There are a lot of them, up to 15-20 objects per year, that is, it turns out that their number has already exceeded a hundred.
Perhaps, of the things implemented in the last two years, I would like to note two works: “The most beautiful horses in the world” – two huge sculptures installed in the Manege in the center of St. Tomsk. And of course, the BoscoVesna design is one of the most ambitious projects in all respects. I cannot fail to mention the 4-story high inflatable sculptures installed in the atrium and the huge animation screens on the façade.
