The premiere of Kion’s new series “Cupid” took place at the Oktyabr Film Center in Moscow. The main roles in the multi-part drama were played by Alena Mikhailova and Ekaterina Vilkova. Among the guests at the premiere were director Sergei Ginzburg and his wife Olga Vinnichenko. The actress of the series “The Policeman from Rublyovka” and the drama “War Correspondent” began a romance with Ginzburg after his divorce from television presenter Yana Poplavskaya. Olga is half her husband’s age: he is 63 years old and she is 32. They married in 2020.
For the premiere, Olga chose a black dress with a spectacular neckline and a thigh-high slit. The one chosen by the director had her hair tied up in an elegant updo.
Sergei Ginzburg and Yana Poplavskaya have been married for 25 years. The couple divorced in 2011 after Sergei cheated on her. The “Cupid” series can be seen in the Kion online cinema starting October 1. In the crime drama, Alena Mikhailova played twin sisters whose paths diverged. According to the plot, Anya and Nadya have protected each other from dangers since childhood. Then Anya became an MMA fighter and Nadya went to Japan to find her own path. After a while, Anya receives an alarming message and realizes that Nadya is in trouble. The girl leaves for Japan, where she will have to fight the Yakuza and save her sister.
To prepare for the role, Alena Mikhailova trained with masters of sports and martial arts champions. Filming took place in Russia and Asia, a large international team of experts in the field of stunts worked on the project.
