In the first half, the guests opened the scoring after a shot by Mikhail Grigorenko, but Adam Lischka equalized. But shortly before the siren, Muscovites again opened the way for a break – Anton Slepyshev scored.
In the 20-minute second half, Egor Morozov again leveled the score, but CSKA took the lead after Maxim Mamin’s goal. The joy of the guests lasted just nine seconds. Danil Vovchenko punished the army team for a mistake.
During the second break, CSKA coach Sergei Fedorov replaced goalkeeper Alexander Sharychenkov with Adam Reideborn. But this did not help – Vovchenko scored a brace, and “Severstal” took the lead for the first time in the match. Alexander Petunin hit the empty net of Muscovites at the end – 5:3.
Severstal took the lead in the series 2-1, on Wednesday the teams will once again take the ice from the arena in Cherepovets.
In Moscow, “Dynamo” skillfully used the mistakes of the “Torpedo” players and won the third match of the series – 3:0. Winners included Ivan Igumnov, Ivan Muranov and Eric O’Dell. Goalkeeper Ilya Konovalov scored a “dry” match. The score of the series was 2-1 in favor of the Blue and Whites. On March 8, the teams will return to the ice in the capital.
Magnitogorsk “Metallurg” in the local arena in the second overtime beat “Motorist” – 2:1. The victory for the locals was brought by an accurate shot by Denis Zernov in the 91st minute of the game. The series score was 2-1 in favor of Magnitogorsk.
“Siberia” with the support of its audience lost to Omsk “Vanguard” – 3:4. The Omsk club leads the series 2-1.
