The Vatican has launched an investigation into reports that riotous orgies took place in the northeast England cathedral city of Newcastle during the lockdown.
It is rumored that it was the rumors about this sex party that led to the recent resignation of Newcastle Bishop Robert Burn – the watchman (that is, the word episcopus translates from Latin) of the cathedral left his post shortly before the celebration of the New Year.
At the same time, the bishop himself is not suspected of engaging in indecent acts, and the dean of the cathedral Michael McCoy is called the main person involved in the orgy, who allegedly arranged a party with the participation of his acquaintances in the apartment of the temple. .
McCoy himself no longer cares about this investigation: he committed suicide in the spring of 2021, shortly after police informed him of the child sexual abuse charges against him.
It is noteworthy that for several days after the priest was informed of the charges against him, police representatives were almost constantly in contact with him, explaining the procedures for upcoming interrogations and other investigative actions. According to law enforcement officers, McCoy did not show any signs of depression, but was soon found dead in his apartment and forensics ruled a suicide.
