“To disrupt the electoral events, the kyiv regime used terrorist methods of influence on Russian citizens. Both the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their Western advisors knew this,” the minister said.
The head of the military department said that during the electoral events the air defense forces shot down 419 unmanned aerial vehicles and 67 missiles. Attempts to seize border settlements in the Belgorod and Kursk regions were prevented.
“The most active actions took place in the area of the village of Kozinka. All enemy attacks were successfully repelled and he was driven beyond Russian territory. At the same time, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of action of the groups covering the state border for eight days of hostilities amounted to more than 3.5 thousand, or more precisely 3501 people, of which 790 They were irreparable losses. “23 tanks, 34 armored vehicles, including 11 Bradleys, five Vampire multiple launch rocket system launchers and one Mi-8 helicopter were destroyed,” Shoigu listed.
And he also pointed out that during the fighting it was possible not only to save the lives of hundreds of people, but also to guarantee the holding of votes in these territories. By the way, in the army and navy, according to the minister, a record turnout was recorded – 99.8%.
“In total, more than 1.5 million military personnel and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces voted,” he said.

Next, the minister reviewed the situation in the zone of special military operations.
“Groups of Russian troops continue to expel the enemy from their positions and prevent them from gaining a foothold in new lines. Due to heavy losses, cases of desertion in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have become more frequent. In Ukrainian-controlled territory, looting against civilians is rampant. “The Kiev regime is doing everything possible to hide from citizens the real situation on the battlefield, passing off terrorist attacks against the Russians as successes and increasing forced mobilization,” Shoigu noted.
The head of the military department drew attention to the fact that the United States and its satellites are extremely concerned about the successes of the Russian Armed Forces. Foreign experts are finding it increasingly difficult to argue to the Western community the need for more funding and supply of weapons and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And against this background, the Ukrainian command is forced to throw the remaining reserves into battle and use the most expensive models of foreign equipment. But this no longer influences the situation in the special operations zone in favor of the enemy.
“Since the beginning of the year, four Abrams and five Leopard tanks, 27 Bradley vehicles, six Haymars launchers and 11 anti-aircraft missile system launchers, including five Patriots, have been destroyed. In general, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during this period, that is, since the beginning of this year, exceeded 71 thousand people and 11 thousand units of various weapons,” Shoigu quoted the latest figures, noting that they are three times greater. higher than the figures for the same period last year.
He also said that the Joint Forces Group “will continue to build on the successes achieved and increase the impact of fire on enemy targets.”
THE ARMY INCREASES RESERVES AND STRENGTHENS THE BACK
Shoigu recalled that, in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the progressive development of the Russian Armed Forces and the increase in its combat capabilities continues.
“An army corps, a motorized rifle division, the Dnieper River Flotilla and a river boat brigade of the flotilla have been formed. By the end of the year, it is planned to form two combined armies and thirty formations, including fourteen divisions and sixteen brigades,” said the head of the military institution.
Sergei Shoigu spoke about preparations for the issuance and implementation of electronic identity documents for war veterans (70,000 applications for military personnel have already been submitted). They decided to develop the project “Electronic identification of a combat veteran” to more effectively ensure social guarantees for participants in special military operations, local wars and armed conflicts.
He also addressed the issue of providing service members with permanent housing and service. He cited the example of the troops of the Southern Military Region, where currently 744 servicemen with their families have already settled in service apartments, more than 700 have permanent accommodation, of them 582 within the framework of the Military Mortgage program.
He reported that more than 9 thousand people and 75 units of weapons and military equipment, as well as aviation of the Aerospace Forces, will participate in the parade on Red Square dedicated to the next anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the minister, this year military parades will be held in 28 cities in the country. More than 50 thousand people and around 1,000 types of weapons and war material will participate in them.
