Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu inspected the headquarters of the Vostok troop group during work in the special military operation (NVO) zone.
“At the command post of the Vostok grouping, Sergei Shoigu listened to a report from the commander of the grouping, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov and the commanders of formations and formations on the progress of combat missions in the main directions on the current situation and the actions. of the group of troops,” the Russian Defense Ministry commented.
Shoigu drew the attention of the officers to the organization of comprehensive support for the troops involved in the special military operation, the organization of fortification work and the creation of conditions for the safe deployment of personnel in the field, as well as the work of medical and rear units.
The minister personally thanked several unit commanders for their courageous fulfillment of tasks in the special military operations zone, and also presented them with state awards for their dedication and heroism.
“They are serving with dignity, they are defending our Motherland, they are helping those who need help, they are doing everything to bring the day that is called Victory Day closer,” said Sergei Shoigu.
