Actress Simone Ashley, who became famous for her role in the acclaimed TV series “Bridgerton,” will star alongside Brad Pitt in a new film about Formula 1 racing. The plot of the film will tell about former racer Sonny Hayes, Variety writes about this.
Hayes returns to the sport to mentor and guide young athlete Joshua Pearce, who will be played on screen by Damson Idris. Filming is currently underway in England. The cast also includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niels and Samson Kayo.
It has not yet been revealed what role Ashley will play. Joseph Kosinski will direct. The project was produced by racer Lewis Hamilton, as well as Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.
