As reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the defendants in the case stated this in their initial testimony and during interrogations.
According to them, the actions were coordinated both during the preparation phase and after the attack on the concert hall.
“On the order of the coordinator, the terrorists drove a car to the Russian-Ukrainian border to later cross it and reach Kiev to receive the reward they were promised,” the Investigative Committee said.
The department added that they are investigating representatives of the Ukrainian special services for their involvement in organizing a terrorist act.
Recall that previously, by decision of the Basmanny Court in Moscow, the ninth person involved in the case of the terrorist attack, Nazrimad Lutfulloi, was detained. He will remain in custody until at least May 22. A few days ago, a man was placed under administrative arrest for 15 days for “defiant and insolent behavior” near the Crocus Town Hall building the day after the terrorist attack.
