According to the Dynamo press service, a new agreement was signed with Fedor Smolov for one season with the possibility of extending it for another year.
The 33-year-old blue and white pupil returned to Dynamo in January 2022. Before that, he played for the ‘blue and white’ from 2006 to 2015.
“Smolov was and remains one of the best Russian strikers. I am glad that we continue our cooperation,” Zeljko Buvac, Dynamo’s deputy general sports director, commented on the contract extension.
This season, Smolov scored 12 goals in all competitions in the 31st game. In total, after returning to Dynamo, he scored 19 goals in 46 games.
