The director and screenwriter of the 2001 film is DJ Pooh. The plot centered on two friends (played by Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre) who work at a car wash and get into trouble. The film also featured Eminem, Ludacris, Kurupt, Shaquille O’Neal, Xzibit, and George Wallace.
Despite low critical ratings (the film has an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), The Wash has become a cult classic. It grossed $10 million at the box office on a budget of $7 million. The soundtrack features Busta Rhymes, D12, Xzibit, Bilal, and Bubba Sparxxx, as well as Snoop Dogg and Dre.
Little is known about the upcoming show. DJ Pooh tweeted: “This will all be revealed in the next series The Wash.” It is not yet known if Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dra.
Previously, Snoop Dogg launched his own line of pet clothing and accessories, Snoop Doggie Doggs. To create the collection, the rapper partnered with Pennsylvania-based Little Earth Productions, which specializes in producing pet supplies.
