Sobyanin: Entrance to the metro at BKL stations will be free for five days after its launch KXan 36 Daily News

Date: March 28, 2023 Time: 08:35:32

As a person who has already personally seen most of the BKL stations still under construction, I will say: these days, even if during them you only travel and do nothing else, it is still not enough to consider what a wonderful gift. they did to all Russian metro builders. For comparison: The length of the Circle Line currently operating in the capital is 19.4 km with 12 stations, which is 3.5 times shorter than the 70-kilometre Big Ring with 31 stations. Located 10 kilometers from the old ring road, the new ring road prevents residents from the periphery from having to travel to the center just to change there to another radial line.

All new stations worthily continue the tradition of the Moscow Metro – they are beautifully decorated, each of them has its own modern face and, of course, it will be interesting for passengers to consider.

However, residents of the capital and the entire Moscow region are not only familiar with 22 stations, but also actively use them, since they have been released alternately since 2018. “Strangers” are only the last 9, which are opened today on the section from Electrozavodskaya to Savelovskaya and from Kakhovskaya to Nizhegorodskaya: Maryina Roshcha, Rizhskaya, Sokolniki, Tekstilshchiki, ” Printers”, “Nagatinsky Zaton”, “Maple Boulevard”, “Kashirskaya ” and “Varshavskaya”.

Thanks to them, the travel time from the Rizhskaya station to Sokolniki, in particular, was reduced by 5.5 times (to 3 minutes). The road from Varshavskaya to Vnukovo airport has become 2 times faster – 40 minutes instead of 80. 3 times faster – in 22 minutes you can now go from Aviamotornaya to CSKA. 1.5 times faster – in 26 minutes there is now an opportunity to go from “Kashirskaya” to “University”.
