The mayor noted that in the near future it will be possible to hold competitions in the complex.

The Historical Escalator Gallery is also open. And now from the station “Vorobyovy Gory” in just a few minutes you can walk, the ski resort has become much closer. Traveling on it will be free, Sobyanin said. Meanwhile, prior to reconstruction, the famous escalator gallery in Sparrow Hills was closed for nearly 40 years.
As a result of the work carried out, the capacity of the ski slopes of the Vorobyovy Gory Sports Complex increased to 500 people with single skiing and about 6 thousand people per day. The minimum track width is 30 meters. The tracks are equipped with a modern lighting system. Track number 1 meets the standards of the International Ski Federation.
Skiers can go up the slope with the help of a new 14-seater chairlift, with 6 seats each, equipped with a heating system. Along the road there is a special screen that protects passengers from wind and snow. Throughput – up to 1 thousand people per hour.
