The latest equipment was installed, in particular, at the Moscow Multidisciplinary Scientific and Clinical Center “Kommunarka”, the Moscow City Oncology Hospital No. 62, the Oncology Center No. 1 of the Yudin City Clinical Hospital, the Moscow Multidisciplinary Scientific and Clinical Center named after SP Botkin and the Moscow Clinical Scientific Center named after AS Loginova.
“This has significantly expanded the capabilities of doctors. As a result, more than two thousand cancer patients will receive high-tech treatment this year,” the mayor noted.
Robotic surgery is one of the most advanced areas of Moscow medicine. Its main advantage is the highest precision and minimum trauma. In recent years, the capital has implemented a program to re-equip hospitals and clinics; 50 thousand units of modern equipment have been delivered. The city plans to purchase the same amount by 2028.
