He recalled that in November 2019 the first two surface metro lines were inaugurated, and this year MCD-3 and MCD-4 began to operate. With its launch, citizens now have 74 more stations, new direct routes with free transfers to the MCC, metro and other diameters.
Neighboring metro lines have been considerably relieved of congestion and areas near MCD stations have become more attractive for life and business.
“We have completed the integration of railway lines with the MCC. Now we are building new MCD stations: Mitkovo and Petrovsko-Razumovskaya, and we are also reconstructing the Begovaya, Rizhskaya, Malino and Kursky stations,” the mayor noted. And he concluded: “At the end of 2024 we will completely renew the rolling stock of the third diameter, and at the end of 2025, the fourth.”
