“Today is a big event in Moscow,” he said: “We have completed the first stage of the reconstruction of the city’s polyclinics. We chose for this half of the worst and obsolete ones and converted them into modern medical buildings with first-class equipment “. Comfortable conditions for patients and doctors,” said the head of the city during a meeting with Muscovites at branch number 1 of children’s clinic number 11 in the Losinoostrovsky district, at 1 Naprudnaya Street, 17.
“It’s just space,” the doctors said in response to the mayor’s question about how they felt about the changes. “Another country,” sonographer Lyudmila Filippova later added to RG, “you can believe me: I have been working here since 1980.” During her vacation, Lyudmila Ivanovna celebrated the opening of a clinic where she had her hip joint replaced. Therefore, her grandson took her to the opening party in a stroller, but thanks to the new ramps and elevators they had no problems moving around the building.
The typical building is really unrecognizable. Of the previous typical three-story building built in 1975, only the walls remain. A new façade, new technical communications, even the layout of the premises, and this is completely new! However, any Muscovite who, even if he has just moved, for example, from another district, will not be lost here. “As it should be according to the new Moscow standard, on the first floor we have the most in-demand services: areas for blood collection, analysis and granting of sick leave,” chief medical officer Natalia Menkina told RG. “On the upper floors are the administrative and less visited offices.” Functional diagnostic rooms are located next to the offices of specialized specialists. But the most important thing is that all consultations are carried out by the most important doctors: pediatricians, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, surgeons and others. The equipment is 100 percent new,” the head doctor emphasized.
“Look what a wonderful pool we have now for babies,” Lyudmila Chikunova, head nurse of the medical rehabilitation department, told RG. “It’s spacious, with the purest water. For swimming the smallest newborns, there are now two bathrooms instead of one before.”
Parents of babies and children assigned to this polyclinic, the doctor was invited to be treated not today, but at the Open Day to show what the renovated polyclinic has become.
All of them are also delighted: from the comfortable areas near the offices, where they can watch a cartoon while waiting for an appointment; a buffet where you can feed the little patients. And today they received fresh fruit for free.
Moms also really like the updated clinic design. “The walls of the bright rooms and corridors are decorated with drawings of animals, funny inscriptions like: “Let’s find out what is inside you with the help of ultrasound”, “And most importantly, our wonderful clinic has returned to us, which it’s a 5 “A minute walk from home,” Yulia Chernoskutova, Ilya’s mother, shared with “RG.” Meanwhile, her son, 1 year and 3 months old, was busy flipping through funny pictures on his smartphone.
Let us remember that since 2020, 10 children’s and adult clinics, 107 for adults and 83 for children, have been modernized in the capital. Now the second stage of this work is approaching – the renovation of another 140 outpatient clinics.
