South Africa panicked by taking photos of ‘aliens’

Date: June 10, 2023 Time: 13:22:17

Photos of creatures that look like headless octopuses have become the subject of heated discussion.

Ian Foster, 62, from South Africa, posted photos taken on the beach on social networks and caused panic among users: the eerie images show figures of “aliens” emerging from the sea.

Photos of creatures that look like headless octopuses have become the subject of heated discussions. Many commentators took the images as a joke, but there were also those who announced the danger on the beach and even announced their intention to cancel the vacation.

In fact, according to Forster, the images show dried aloe plants washed up by the waves, and the man himself posted the photos hoping to amuse the public.

I was surprised at the reaction to the photos. I thought people would have fun, but then everything got very serious, some were very scared,” the photographer told reporters.

Forster said he was literally inundated with questions about how safe it is to be on the beach with these creatures, whether they come ashore during the day, whether he saw what they eat and more.

“I learned a lot about society,” the man summed up.
