It should be noted that the launch of the Soyuz MS-23 in a given orbit and the separation of the third stage of the rocket, as well as the opening of the antennas and solar panels of the spacecraft were carried out in the normal mode.
The spacecraft flies to the ISS according to a two-day rendezvous pattern, experts say. Its docking with the Russian Poisk research module is scheduled for February 26 at 04:01 Moscow time.
The unmanned spacecraft will replace the manned Soyuz MS-22 stationed on the Russian segment of the ISS, which suffered a depressurization of its thermal control system in December last year. Soyuz MS-23 will also deliver 429 kg of cargo for the station’s crew.
