According to the agency, for the period from March 9 to December 28, a total of 160,537 temporary protections for Ukrainian citizens were issued in Spain.
The ministry also noted that the Home Office seeks to combat hate crimes to protect human rights and freedoms. To this end, according to a press release, specialized groups were created throughout Spain among National Police and Civil Guard personnel to combat this type of crime.
According to statistics from the Kingdom’s Ministry of the Interior published in October, more than 150,000 Ukrainian refugees arrived in Spain, 64.1% of whom were women.
