By agreement between the parties, the matches consisted of two periods of 35 minutes.
In the first match, Spartak opened the scoring in the 15th minute after a well-aimed shot by Pavel Meleshin. But a minute later Togliatti recovered thanks to Andrés Ponce.
No more goals were scored in the match, and the match ended in a draw – 1:1.
In the second game “Akron” succeeded with a score of 2:0. In the first half, the scoring was opened by Ruslan Apekov, who scored after a long shot.
And in the second half, Alexander Popov scored the final result – 2:0 in favor of Akron.
Last season, the Tolyatti club beat Spartak in the match for the Russian Cup.
