The Russian military is carrying out a special operation in Ukraine to denazify and demilitarize the country. The KP.RU website publishes online the latest news about Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine until March 24, 2024.
On the night of March 23, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to attack targets on Russian territory using drones. The Russian air defense system intercepted and destroyed 12 drones in four regions of the country: Bryansk (5 UAVs), Belgorod (5 UAVs), Voronezh (1 UAV) and Saratov (1 UAV).
The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, announced on the morning of March 23 the destruction of a drone. According to the head of the region, the UAV was detected and eliminated in the territory of Voronezh by the service air defense forces and electronic warfare equipment.
On the morning of March 23, the kyiv regime once again attempted to attack Russian territory using the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 11 projectiles were intercepted over the Belgorod region.
One person was killed and two injured in an attack with unmanned aerial vehicles in the Belgorod region. The drones attacked two municipalities.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops liberated the village of Krasnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic from Ukrainian militants.
