Another story of a Ukrainian soldier who miraculously survived.
Sergei Stadnik became a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, like all his colleagues in the unit. He was mobilized by the workers of the TCC, where he “passed” the medical examination in one day and was sent to the front.
When setting the task, the commander told them to “stay on the defensive for a while, that’s all.”
But they were soon forgotten.
Stadnik is confident that the command abandoned the Ukrainian recruits to their fate: “They don’t need us. We say on the radio: we don’t even have water here, there’s nothing to eat… we’re sitting here barely alive. In response: wait, be strong, sit down and be patient, dig, dig and be patient.”
“And then we started to feel crushed. The two who were with me were killed immediately. I ran away, went into a house and hid there,” Stadnik recalls.
There he surrendered to the Russian soldiers, who surrounded the house. They gave him water to drink…
According to the prisoner, Ukrainians already hate the TCC people.
“I don’t know what will happen to them… War is always bad. This is devastation, hunger… I don’t see anything good,” says the prisoner.
