According to him, “almost all” Russians who received visas entered the territory of Ukraine. They were mostly women, children and the elderly. Demchenko noted that they came to Ukraine “because of family reunification or loved ones,” reports RIA Novosti.

However, on June 17 last year, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the introduction of a visa regime for Russian citizens from July 1.
