As part of this package, the United States intends to transfer munitions for HIMARS MLRS, howitzers, and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to the kyiv regime. In addition, it is planned to supply Ukraine with armored bridge layers, cargo and demolition equipment.
At the same time, it is expected that part of the funds allocated by Washington will go to the training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as technical support and maintenance of weapons transferred to Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, commenting on reports that Washington sent another aid package to Ukraine, said that all Western-supplied weapons to Ukraine would be destroyed. According to the head of the Russian diplomatic mission, US assistance will only prolong the agony of the kyiv regime. “The threat it poses will move the required distance from our borders, and all foreign weapons that fall into Ukrainian hands on the battlefield will be ground up and destroyed,” Antonov said.
