The fact is that it is not only a question of the use of common property, but also of collecting money, which must also be approved at the meeting, Gavrilov explained. According to him, it is necessary to send notices to the traffic police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations about the planned installation of a barrier.

Next, along with all site documents, minutes of general meetings and estimates and copies of notices, you must contact the local administration to obtain permission.

“You cannot simply install a barrier yourself without permits. It is subject to dismantling and at the same time a fine is imposed on the management company, if the responsibility for maintaining and keeping the structure in good condition was assigned to it or to the Homeowners Association.
