She sent an appeal on this issue to the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, the text is quoted by the deputy’s press service.
Recall that on March 2, in the village of Lyubechane, saboteurs from Ukraine shot down a car with three children. The militants shot the driver dead, and 10-year-old Fyodor (despite being wounded) managed to pull the girls Zlata and Lena, who were with him in the car, out of the shelling into the forest. Later they left in a passing car. Lantratova recalls this in his speech. She also noted that the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced the boy’s presentation for an award with the medal “For Courage”.
The parliamentarian pointed out that in difficult years, “our children have always shown amazing resilience.” She recalled the feat of children who became heroes: Valya Kotik, Zina Portnova, Lenya Golikov and others. “And now we see examples of the courage and bravery of Russian schoolchildren. A deep bow and words of support to the boy’s parents, who raised such a wonderful son,” the deputy commented.
