There was also a proposal to pay for housing and communal services at the expense of the capital mother; such an initiative was made by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Education Committee Yana Lantratova (SRZP).
In 2023, the amount of the maternity capital at the birth of the first child amounted to 589.5 thousand rubles, the second child – 779 thousand rubles. If the parents have already received maternal capital for their first child, then – 189.5 thousand rubles.
