According to him, this approach will improve the efficiency of management of apartment buildings in the region and will allow for faster responses to complaints from residents.
– Previously, GZHI inspectors from the main department of Smolensk simply could not process applications from citizens from regional centres and regularly carry out control activities there. Now, being on the ground, they will be able to effectively check the quality of services provided by management companies and homeowners’ associations, – explained Vasily Anokhin.
Housing inspectors in small towns will also monitor the legality of the redevelopment of apartment buildings and control compliance with rules and regulations in the housing and communal services sector, the head of the region added.
