Hot on the heels of the release of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, The Boy and the Heron, Studio Ghibli with the perfume brand Fernanda has launched a line of fragrances inspired by three of the famous Japanese director’s most popular anime. Hypebeast writes about it.
The Witch’s Delivery Service fragrance smells of flowers and herbs collected by the young witch Kiki, as well as pear, jasmine and lily of the valley. The second body spray is inspired by the movie Whisper of the Heart. The composition contains a combination of black, amber and yuzu tea. The third perfume, “Howl’s Moving Castle”, incorporates notes of rose, cedarwood and orris. According to the perfumers’ idea, this is how Howl’s secret garden from the famous anime smells.
A bottle of Ghibli x Fernanda Body Spray costs $15.
Remember that earlier the animation studio Ghibli partnered with Levi’s to create a collection dedicated to another cult anime film by Hayao Miyazaki: “Princess Mononoke”.
