More than 20% of men are not only willing to pay for plastic surgery, but will also be happy to tell you what appearance the lady they love should improve. But the discreet 47% of survey participants adhere to the motto “her body is her business”, so the burden of making decisions about changes in appearance will fall solely on the girl.
In the ranking of the most annoying changes in women’s appearance, lip enlargement takes the first place. 49% of men will not go on a date with a girl who has undergone this procedure. Speaking about themselves, 86% of guys and 48% of girls claim that they have never resorted to surgical interventions for appearance reasons. Another 29% of women plan to undergo plastic surgery; 8% of men also have this issue on their to-do list for the future.
Speaking about personal expenses, a quarter of Muscovites spend up to 10,000 rubles on beauty procedures, another 35% spend more than 10,000 rubles a month. Men are more economical: 44% allocate less than 1,000 rubles from their budget to beauty. Another 19% are willing to spend up to 2,000 rubles and 12% up to 5,000 rubles, respectively.
Meanwhile, men visiting a beauty salon are no longer surprising. One in four Muscovites approves of such a routine and does not consider such changes to be striking.
The top 5 most popular procedures among respondents of both sexes included manicures, pedicures, waxing and haircuts. Facial skin care rounded off the list, namely masks, peels and skin cleansing for girls and massages for boys. Interestingly, Botox injections are on the monthly checklists of 17% of women and 3% of men.
By the way, men’s interventions on their appearance arouse the interest of women. More than 20% of women living in the capital are interested in dating a guy who has had his lips enlarged, and one in three admitted that they advised their partner to find a plastic surgeon.
