The service unit of the 3rd Vladivostok Police Department received a signal that an attack had been made on an ambulance brigade, which had come to the call. When the police arrived at the scene, the participants in the incident were no longer there.
Subsequently, a 61-year-old rescuer, who came out as part of an ambulance team, applied to law enforcement and was beaten.
The police managed to find out the identity and location of the attacker. He turned out to be a previously convicted 34-year-old local resident. The man was arrested and taken to the police station. There he confessed to his crime.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Hooliganism”.
