“Tank crews are fully prepared for combat work and for firing at the enemy both with direct fire and from indirect fire positions,” the publication notes.
The tank units, the department stressed, took up firing positions in “directions dangerous for tanks.”
Ukrainian troops attacked the Russian border in the Kursk region on the morning of August 6.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the fighting amounted to 945 soldiers and more than 100 armoured vehicles.
The Russian army is destroying the enemy in the Sudzhansky and Korenevsky districts of the Kursk region, and is also attacking the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
