On August 3, on the territory of the estate, you will be able to meet ladies and gentlemen dressed in 19th-century costumes, take photos against the backdrop of the estate in a special photo zone, and take part in a quiz about the museum and M.Yu. Lermontov.
There were several interactive platforms for the guests. They could enjoy Tarkhan folk motifs, classical music or take part in a master class on making a protective doll.
The highlight of the programme was the poetry performance “Lermontov. I am writing to you…”. It is part of the large-scale project “Golden Age”, which was awarded the All-Russian Poetry Prize named after Andrei Dementyev. After the production was over, director, producer, scriptwriter and performer of several roles Oleg Pogudin introduced the artists and thanked the Tarkhany Museum-Reserve.
Museum director Yulia Pechnikova noted that the Tarkhan team has many important tasks ahead:
“85 years is the age of youth for the museum, but so much has happened during this time. Behind these figures is the enormous work of a large number of people. We really appreciate that our friends are with us today. With you, we are turning another page of the anniversary museum. There are many tasks ahead, but the main thing for us today is not to lower the bar set by our predecessors so high.”
