“Mercenaries are behaving more harshly towards civilians,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
He added that law enforcement officials have already established that Ukrainian mercenaries from the United States, Poland and France are fighting in the Kursk direction.
Military expert Andrei Marochko had previously published similar information. According to him, Georgians and Germans were also seen on Russian territory. The officer also noted that the losses of foreign mercenaries in the Kursk region account for 20-30 percent of the total daily losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, refugees from areas near Kursk have repeatedly reported atrocities committed in villages by Western soldiers. And Special Ambassador Rodion Miroshnik spoke about cases of sexual violence by them.
