According to unofficial data, 97% of those who voted supported changes to the constitution. The official results of the vote will be announced on Sunday.
It should be noted that this is the eighth such case in the 30-year history of the independent republic. The referendum on amendments to the Constitution to allow early termination of parliamentary powers was held at the initiative of the opposition party “Kurs – Social Democracy”.
