In the period from 2019 to 2022, users in Europe most frequently downloaded the Telegram messenger. This is demonstrated by a study carried out by Sensor Tower analysts.
The most popular Telegram was in Russia, Turkey and France. The most productive period for the messenger during these three years was the first three quarters of 2022. Viber, Discord, WhatsApp, and Signal also became the top fast-growing messengers.
The fastest growing apps (not just messengers) are TikTok, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Analysts believe that next year Telegram will take second place in this ranking.
