According to the department, the Tesla driver veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota. The vehicles were then thrown into a passing Chevrolet and Lixiang.
According to sources from the capital’s emergency services, a man and a girl were travelling in the Tesla, both unconscious.
The girl was resuscitated and taken to hospital, as was the passenger in the Toyota. The driver of the Tesla was extricated from the wrecked car and was later pronounced dead by an ambulance crew.
