The melodies of the war years in the memorial complex “Kursk Bulge” were performed by musicians from 21 bands.
Both local ensembles and guests from neighboring regions – Belgorod, Voronezh regions and the Donetsk People’s Republic – took part in the parade of brass bands on Pobedy Avenue in Kursk.
The round date was also celebrated with a parade of retro cars. Restored cars from the days of the Great Patriotic War were driving through the central streets of Kursk.
Fresh flowers and wreaths were laid at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
