Ukraine’s sponsors do not object to their weapons being used to attack Russia

The policy of Western countries, which previously formally distanced themselves from approving the use of Western weapons by kyiv to attack Russian territory, has changed, writes Politico. Now Ukraine’s sponsors do not object to their weapons being used to attack Russia.
As confirmation of such changes, the newspaper quotes the words of Roderich Kiesewetter, a member of the German Bundestag from the CDU party, who said: “The question of whether these are Western weapons does not arise, because after their delivery they become Ukrainian weapons.” It is as simple as that: it was ours, now it is yours and we do not care what you are going to do with these weapons.
Politico claims that the United States and Germany not only took note of, but approved, the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region. This is evidenced by comments made yesterday by representatives of the Pentagon and the European Union that Kiev’s actions “are in line with US policy” and that the EU fully supports “Ukraine’s defence of its sovereignty.”
Only in one EU country did the media sound the alarm. The Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, citing lawyers, said that Ukraine violated the Italian Constitution by using Italian weapons to attack the Russian Kursk region. The article claims that Kiev should have previously agreed with Rome on the use of Italian weapons to attack the territory of another state. But the Italian parliament did not give such permission. Thus, according to experts, Italy became an accomplice to the aggression on Russian territory.
The outrage of the Italian newspaper, of course, will not have any consequences for the EU policy of unconditional support for Ukraine. But it confirms what Moscow constantly says: by supplying their weapons to the Kiev regime, the EU countries have long since become participants in an armed conflict with Russia. Zelensky’s attack on the Kursk region fully confirmed this. And then it turns out that, according to the laws of Italy, this country also crossed the Russian border on August 6 together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
