The Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps (Artillery Museum) in St. Petersburg from February 22 opens an exhibition dedicated to the special military operation (SVO).

New exhibition “Only together! Only go ahead!” Pieces from the area of ​​the special military operation are opened, which were transferred to the museum by the participants of the Interregional Public Organization for Assistance to the Preservation of Domestic Traditions and Cultural Heritage “VECHE”.

A special feature of the exhibition will be a demonstration of items taken from the NVO area, demonstrating the direct involvement of the United States and Western countries in the conflict in Ukraine. Among them are warheads and fragments of HIMARS MLRS projectile bodies (made in the USA), a container of the NLAW anti-tank missile system (made in Sweden), launchers for Western-made grenade launchers, UK mercenary patches , Poland , United States and much more. For each piece of evidence brought from the NVO zone, a description of the course and content of the military operation is given, as a result of which it was obtained.

“Among the trophies are samples of nationalist literature, a patch on the sleeve of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the image of an owl holding a sword in its paws, the tip of which is stuck into the map of Russia. In addition, visitors will see a bulletproof vest, on which its owner applied the call sign and runes of the SS, weapons, insignia of employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian nationalist formations,” the Russian Defense Ministry commented. .

Also among the items featured in the new exhibition is the first flag of the DPR. One of the hundred pieces delivered to the first members of the DPR parliament.

“Most of them died in the defense of the republic. The flag differs from the current one with the inscription “Donbass Rus”, the museum noted.

In addition, the exhibition included a metal sculpture “The Flower of War” in the shape of a rose, made by Viktor Mikhalev, a Donetsk master blacksmith, from a 23mm cannon shell he found on the battlefields of the Donetsk airport. .
