The CEO of Ferrovial, Ignacio Madridejos, has reacted to the announcement of the transfer of the company’s headquarters to Countries. With a video published on social networks, Madridejos has asked that “no one doubt” the continuity of the firm in Spain and has assured that it will continue to build itself fiscally in the country, “as it has always done.” Thus, the director justifies this operation: “We want to continue growing and we are very excited about this new stage, which we hope will also excite many investors.”
Madridejos explained that what has been proposed is a corporate reorganization according to the company’s profile: “Today, international activity represents more than 80% and the valuation of the company’s assets is 80% located in North America, where is our main market”.
However, he has defended that “the present and future of the company continues in Spain and in Europe”, which is why it will continue to be listed in Madrid, just as it aspires to do so in Amsterdam and later also request it in the United States. “Let no one doubt our continuity in Spain. The plan is to maintain employment, activity and investments, while at the same time we will continue to contribute fiscally as we have always done”, Madridejos concluded.
